Mexican Quiche

A low-protein recipe for kids and adults with PKU

1 batch “new dough
2 cups salsa or picante sauce
1 cup green onions
1 cup black olives
2 oz lo-pro cheddar cheese

Prepare “new dough” recipe. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut dough into 1 inch cubes, chop onions and olives, and finely grate cheese.  Grease 9×13 pan.  Mix all ingredients except cheese.  Put mix in pan and top with cheese.  Put in refrigerator 3-4 hours to overnight.  (This is optional, but allows the sauce to seep into the dough, making it taste better).  Bake 25-35 minutes (add 10 minutes if mixture is chilled).  Cut into 24 2” x 2” pieces
