Sautéed Green Beans with Garlic

A low-protein recipe for kids and adults with PKU — from the Resource Mothers Handbook

¾ lbs (340 gm) green beans, cooked
1 Tbl (15 gm) olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
salt/pepper
basil/oregano to taste

Pat cooked beans dry with paper towels.  Heat oil in heavy fry pan on high for 45 seconds.  Add beans and sauté, stirring often.  Cook 2 minutes.  Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.  Season with salt, pepper, basil and oregano to taste.  Yield: 4 servings.
