Broccoli Lo-Pro Pasta

A low-protein recipe for kids and adults with PKU

½ cup carrots
½ tsp minced garlic
1 cup broccoli
½ cube chicken bouillon
olive oil
75 gm cooked Loprofin® pasta
basil
½ cup water

Sauté carrots in olive oil and garlic for 2-3 minutes; add broccoli, bouillon, and water. Simmer until broccoli is tender (about 5 minutes).  Add basil and serve over hot pasta.

Hint: If you have leftover carrots and broccoli, add them to pasta and top with Kraft® Free Italian dressing.
